  • So bad.

    By Ector Javier
I loved The Clone Wars and also really loved Rebels. This is just bad.
  • Booooooo... so bad!

    By #greg is awesome
Ok first things first. I started watching this show with an open mind. And while I definitely love the original canon (while Lucas owned Star Wars) I have generally had a high opinion for all the new (Disney) Star Wars stuff... even though The Last Jedi was disappointing. Coming after Star Wars The Clone Wars/Rebels amazing story, animation, and writing. This obviously had a lot to live up too. It did not, in anyway, come close to its predecessors. First thing about the the animation is, it’s extremely colorful, too much actually. It’s not very realistic. Second thing about it is the fact that it is EXTREMELY jerky when they talk, they’re like puppets. A few other logic problems. Why did Poe let this random kid have his droid? His, and I quote. “Orange and White BB unit, one of a kind.” This kid fell onto the windscreen of a ship probably doing 200 to 300 miles an hour without injuring himself. He then proceeded to fall 30 feet into a bunch of metal crates, still without injury. If this is gonna be one of those shows where the main characters never have ANYTHING bad happen to them. Then great job. (Not putting in ANY effort to bring out the emotions of your viewers). Also, this show seems to be targeted at a SEVERELY younger audience then Rebels and The Clone Wars, just sayin. I’m sorry. You can call me butthurt. But this is my honest opinion. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. If you like it, you can keep it. I will definitely pass. Especially considering Dave Filoni did this. On the other hand, I can’t wait for “The Mandalorian”. Maybe that one won’t be as disappointing, especially considering it’s live action. Revision: Another reviewer decided to argue some of the points I made in my previous review, So I have to revise it. First thing, I will give you this. There is a chance, however remote, that Poe Dameron would give some random kid his droid so they could have covert communication. But aren’t there specialized droids, that the resistance, however poorly funded, would have specifically for that reason? And doesn’t it seem lazy to you that they just used BB-8 instead of coming up with a new character? Seriously though. Secondly. Said reviewer also claimed that the ship that Kaz (the main character) falls onto is only going around 120 mph. And that after hitting said ship he only falls around 90 meters. This point that he made I think is invalid because if you got hit head on at 120 miles per hour, while you yourself were going pretty fast after falling 20 feet, AND THEN fell another 90 meters (295 feet) onto a stack of metal crates. I think you would be dead or severely injured. Or, on TV, clutching your ribs or at least bruised. Third and last point: that other guy uses Rhodes, who fell 1,200 meters, as example. Saying that “He walked away virtually unharmed!” Even though Rhodes was wearing a futuristic suit of armor, and is now paralyzed from the waist down. He isn’t doing much walking. Considering our character was wearing street clothes, I don’t think this is a good comparison. All in all, I do not think this show is very good and that’s my opinion. Will be looking forward to future series.
  • So far, so good.

Star Wars Resistance has been good so far. The reason for the four stars is that I have one criticism of the show, which is the unnecessary use of comedy. For those who are saying that the show has no story or plot, you need to keep in mind that the story is still in the beginning stages.
  • Part of a growing Star Wars universe

    By hungrygoron
I've really enjoyed the show. It's a departure from the animation style of Clone Wars and Rebels, but the anime-inspired visuals breathe new life into Star Wars storytelling. Diverse ship design and species variations add to the universe and make it more immersive. I'm looking forward to more episodes, especially as the conflict between the First Order and Resistance intensifies.
  • It’s a GREAT show

I love this show it’s so entertaining to watch. I dunno why people say it trash but it’s so good. After rebels and clone wars of course. But I love it. Each episode gets more enjoyable. Filoni is always full of surprises

Even though the show is hated for having more childlike appeals for the younger audience and the conflict is not a bigger intergalactic involvement as Star Wars fans are use to, but the TV show is lately improving a lot, by having the last episode “The Children from Tehar” where Kaz hears the story of the children’s homeworld was destroyed by Kylo Ren which is similar to the opening of Star Wars The Force Awakens it set him on the course to his real self, finding the map to Luke Skywalker before the First Order does!
  • NO

    Just No.
  • Meh... is the word your looking for...

I’m revising this review. This show is more of a kid show, rather than being a good action Star Wars show. I originally thought that it may be cool to have the first order as the bad guys in a show but there not even that important, it’s more so “ let’s go space racing and do stupid stuff that doesn’t contribute to the plot at all vibe”, rather than let’s stop the first order once and for all “vibe”. It’s one of those shows that has a side quest every episode, that takes up most of the show and takes FOREVER to get to the point. The characters are ok. There not the best but there ok , Kaz seems to be a cliche character rather than a unique character, I honestly thought that the only thing deep about him was his relationship with His father, but it only like 15 seconds. Yeager seems to be a complex character but doesn’t have that character that makes him a memorable character . And the British girl mechanic is cool but hardly ever in the episodes. BB-8 is only there just to make the show a little more watchable. The animation is ok it’s a little hard to get used to but ok. This show has hardly any action which makes it really boring. And the only villains are side villains that are just terrible at what they do. The main character doesn’t even do anything important at all but learn from his crappy mistakes ( which is what every cliche character does ). There’s a reason this is on Disney channel rather than Disney XD it’s just a kiddy show. And I don’t know what your thinking that I’m paying 40 blasted dollars for this stuff. Plus there’s Clone Wars to worry about... The only reason I give it two stars is because I have only seen the first 6 episodes and it still has much to show, but I still can’t bring myself to enjoy it it’s way to child like for me. Hopefully the show matures but I don’t really see it happening. Especially after the forces of destiny show I really don’t see that happening... It’s just meh... and just to address something... I personally think that Disney is messing up the Star Wars universe, and I’ve been a Star Wars fan since I was born, and it’s not as good in Disney’s hands. Especially after the last Jedi and Solo, it’s not looking well, and now I have recently learned that they CANCELED the BOBA FETT movie, just to make the mandalorian show, WHAT!!!!!😠🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 If that’s the case, Disney has screwed up the Star Wars franchise. That mandalorian show BETTER be good, especially if there going to cancel the movie about one of the best and mysterious Star Wars characters EVER!!!!! This time Disney is on the HOT SEAT! Overall a 2/5 For resistance ⚔️⚔️⚔️
  • Really Dull. This is a resistance?

    By atebitcode
Three episodes in, and the only "resistance" was the first 10 minutes of the first episode. The rest has been about racing, for some reason, and characters stuck in a garage out in the ocean. How do you make Star Wars this boring?
  • Old Droids Cartoon

    By mik1179
So much possibility, and this is what Disney came up with. I miss that old Droids cartoon.
